About:Chinese Embassy in Sri Lanka

I am a sri lankan citizen who will be visiting malaysia and intending to go to china from malaysia. I have been granted a malaysian visa. Can I apply for a visitors visa to china once I am in Malaysia from the chineese embassy in malaysia?
