About:Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport

My son is 21 and will be in Guangzhou for one day/night in August staying at the Bai Gong Hotel at 17 Renming Nan Road. Other than the Pearl River Cruise, is there anything else to see/do in that area? He will arrive at noon and does not speak Mandarin. Also, is this a safe area to walk around at night. Thank you.

Shangxiajiu Pedestrian Street, Shamian and the Chen Jia Ci (Temple of the Chen Family). Yes, it is safe walking around that area.
