hi there! another question. is there an mtr from the airport going to Tsim Sha Tsui?

No. There is direct bus: A21, 45 minutes to Tsim Sha Tsui, ticket fare: HKD33.
You can take airport express MTR (ticket fare 90HKD) to Kowllon, then get to Tsim Sha Tsui, which is not far away from each other.
