About:Chinese Embassy in Australia

We are two Australian citizens traveling to China for 4 days in October. Do we need to take our passports and visa applications to the Consulate in Sydney?

You may also apply for the visa from the near Chinese consulate, and if you can't go to the embassy in person, you can entrust a third person(e.g. a travel/visa agent) to process tha visa for you.
