About:Chinese Embassy in Australia

Hi, We will be travelling to Hong Kong in September on Australian passports and would like to travel over the border to Shenzen. We did this last time we were in Hong Kong but went as a group and they organised a group visa, but would like to do this ourselves this time. We have been told there is a special visa we need for this trip. My passport expires on the 24th January 2010, so do I need a new passport for this visa.

How long will you stay in Shenzhen? Will you travel to other cities rather than Shenzhen?

If you will just travel Shenzhen from Hk for only one day, you can get the Shenzhen special zone visa easily and conveniently at Loohu or Shekou port when enter Shenzhen.
Meanwhile, you don't need to renew your passport.
