Why the China Great Wall is compared to a dragon?

It is not hard to understand why when you climb the wall and see into the distance. The Great Wall zigzags the mountains, just like a huge dragon flying up and down!

Just like a gigantic dragon, the Great Wall winds up and down across deserts, grasslands, mountains and plateaus
