Please let us know what temperatures we might expect in Shigatse and Gyangtse in early February.

Are you sure to travel there in February? February is very cold winter time in China. However, I have the following information to share with you.

Shigatse has a semi-arid, plateau temperate, monsoon climate. Temperatures range from a high of 23℃ (73.4F) to a low of -25℃ (-13F) with an annual average temperature of 6.3℃ (43.34F). From November to April, the temperature is quite low. The minimum temperature in Febuary may as low as - 9.5℃ and also due to the frequent wind and dry atmosphere, thus it is not a recommended time to visit.
