About:Chinese Embassy in New Zealand

I'm now in Dongguan and my travel visa will expire on November 27, 2008. We already went to Guangdong Public Security Bureau but they said they don't allow visa extension. They suggested that i exit to Hong Kong for my extension of stay here in China. Is there any other way i can apply for visa extension without leaving China?

Ms. Maricel, I'm afraid that the Police's suggestion is the only choice for you to apply for extension. You can go to the Office of the Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affaires of P.R.of China in Hong Kong SAR to apply for visa extension.
