About:Chinese Embassy in Malaysia

Dear All,

My husband, a amalysian,is working in china now under work permit. We plan to apply residence visa for me and my baby to join him.My question is: After we get this residence visa, and ,in case,he resign from his company, and his work permit is teminated, will our residence visa still valid (2 years)? And the company cannot terminate this residence visa? And can we still use the same visa or better to reapply, when he got new job/company in china? Thank you very much

Mrs. vel Lim, Resident Visa (D Visa) is issued to an alien who comes to reside permanently in China. Therefore, I don't think you can get D visa. You and your baby can apply for work visa (Z visa) as accompanying family members.
