About:Xinyu Travel

According to Travelchinaguide, I can fly to Nanchang by air and then go to Xinyu. Does it mean there is airport bus to get to Xinyu directly? Or should I go there by other transportation? Thank you for your reply.

At present, there are not airport buses from Nanchang Changbei airport to Xinyu. You may take the the Airport Bus Line 1 to get to Nanchang railway station and then transfer to Chang’nan Coach Bus Station by Bus 601. Take a long-distance bus from there to Xinyu.

Sometimes I think it is easier to consider taking the High Speed trains. When I went to Xinyu from the US the first time, I flew to Shanghai and then (next day) went to the airport, flew to Nanchang, and then had a private car meet me at the airport to take me to Xinyu. The next time I went, I took the HS train from Shanghai to Downtown Xinyu. 5.5 hours on the train was less time spent traveling, and far less complicated, than flying to Nanchang. Consider taking the High Speed (120mph)train if you are only going a few hundred miles. It is a smooth and beautiful ride.
