About:Chinese Embassy in India

Hello, I (Indian National) working for an american oil company and now that we have project in China with China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC), was wondering what is the formality/documents required for obtaining a Z 1 year multi-entry visa?

There sin't nulti-entry Z visa actually, you could just apply for a Z visa, then you will have to apply for a temporary residence permit within 30 days after your entry to China, with which you can exit and enter China unlimitedly.
As for the documents, please refer to the official website of Chinese embassy in Indian.
