About:Chinese Embassy in U.K.

Hello,
I have recently just finished my BA in English this past month and have been looking into teaching in China. Unfortunately I will not be issued my official degree certificate until around February 2010. In the mean time I have been offered copies of transcripts and an official letter from my university. Would it be possible for me to obtain a work visa with just these documents?
Thanks,

For China work visa, you have to find a job in China firstly, since the embassy requires a government issued Employment Permit and Visa Notification Letter from your emplyer in China which you must submit with a photocopies with your application.

Thanks for your reply Amy, what I mean is, would it be possible to have an offer for a job and go through the visa process without having to use my official degree certificate at some stage. As in would my transcripts and official letter suffice as proof I have completed my degree?

Dear sir, you may have to present proof of your degree, but the transcripts and official letter will be ok.
