About:Chinese Embassy in Australia

Hi,

Myself and my husband are Australian passport holders. We are flying to Thailand in November for 2 months and then wish to spend approximately 6-9 months travelling around China - and ducking in and out of Hong Kong and Japan. Is it possible for us to apply for our multi-entry China tourist visa (for a length of 6-9 months) in Bangkok? If so, will the embassy be shut over the Christmas/January period (as we will probably be applying for the visa around December/early January).

Thank you for your help.

yes, you can process your Chian visa in Bangkok, the Chinese embassy ther won't be closed during the Christmas festival, for it is a western festival not Chinese.
