hi !i'm travelling to hk on 1st of august for 14 days with my family.

Hi !I'm travelling to HK on 1st of August for 14 days with my family. I would also like to visit Shenzen for few days. I myself have been to China before, but not my family(wife & son).Pl. suggest should I take a China visa from India or from HK. If it is possible from HK, how many days it will take & what documents are required? Pl. help.Thanx,Paras.

Your departhure day is coming, I advise you apply for the China visa in India, which will be easire and securer than thst in HK.As for the requirements, it depends on your travel purpose, please read the info. on the official website of the Chinese embassy in IndiaIt usually takes 4 working days.
