About:Shantou Transportation

Any kind Singaporean can teach me how to go to Teochew city? Which China city should I fly to first before I can head to Teochew? I doubt there is any direct flight to Shantou Waisha Airport.

Taochew City?! I guess you mean Chaozhou City in Guangdong?! if so, Shantou is very closed to this city, only about 40 kilometer. You can get there by bus in half a hour.

so i will have to fly from Singapore to GuangDong before taking bus to ChaoZhou(TEOCHEW)?

If there are flight from Singapore to Shantou, it will be better. Shantou is within 40 kilometers from Chaozhou, while Guangzhou is about 400 km away from there, 5-7 hours.

Mr Ang, I know that South China Air does travel to Shan tou. If not, take TigerAir to GuangZhou, then fly to Shan Tou.

My relative in Shantou advise me to take TigerAir to
Shenzhen and thereafter by long distance bus to Shantou. Understand Chaozhou is about 1 hr bus from
Shantou. I am taking their advise end 2009.
