About:Chinese Consulate in Sydney

My husband and I will be travelling to Beijing in September. I hold a Malaysian passport and my husband holds an Australian passport. We intend to stay in china for 2 weeks. Do we need a visa to enter into China.

Yes, both of you need a tourist L visa for your trip to China.
