if i need help from the police, what language do i need to use?

If I need help from the police, what language do I need to use?  I only speak English and French fluently.  Telling the police about a problem can be difficult!

Acutally, there are certain staff can speak english in the big cities, thus state a problem is easy. You'd better speak english cause i think few policemen knew french.
