This is not the official website of Chinese Embassy in Manila, so you'd better call the embassy to insure it. According to my experience, it is easier to apply for Chinese visa in Hong Kong than in Philippines.

Ms. Hazelle,

I've just been to the China embassy yesterday. all your documents are enough to submit in order for you apply for your china visa. u won't need anymore for NBI clearance, bank statement and etc., as long you have the hotel booked already, the invitation letter and a round trip ticket for that would be enough for tourist visa application.
