So if august is a typhoon month in taipei, is it not good to visit taipei during the said month? Im kinda worried coz our trip is scheduled this august, specifically between august 20-24. Im worried that maybe during our stay there, we cannot tour and explore the place.

Although the rainfall caused typhoon will not influence your traveling seriouly, you'd better pay attention to the real-time weather forecast of Taipei before leaving. The weather during that period may changeful~

@ ALAN: thanks for the reply bro. will check the weather forecast for taipei before we leave. i'm hoping we could really make the most out of our travel there since it's our first time to visit the place.
