About:Chinese Embassy in Japan

We are (me and my wife) Russians but live in Japan (we have 3 years visas). We are going to go to Russia in August via Beijing (Narita-Beijing-Russia) and we've already bought tickets. Shifts between flights are less than 24 hours. Do we need transit Chinese visas? Thank you in advance

If you won't move out of the airport in Beijing, no visa will be needed.
