About:Chinese Consulate in Calgary

I got Chinese L visa for stay 30 days (my mistake put 30 days at first place), but didn't know how the days worked out. If I arrive China July, 9 2009 at 5:00pm and depart China August, 8 2009 at 10:00am, can is count as 30 days? (Or 31 days?)

That could be counted as 31 days. Well, the policy wouldn't that strict. You can also extend the duration of stay at a local public security bureau within Mainland China. Usually, they will give you an extension of 7 days for you to pack up.
