My husband and I are planning to travel to China.  Should we apply visa separately?  And what is the address of the consular office in Gangwando?Thanks!

Each of you should apply for a visa. You should go to the Chinese consulate that includes Gangwando in the consular districts. Check out the consular disctricts on the webpage above.
