About:China Tourist Visa

To apply for the L Visa, I need: "Tourists to China shall provide round trip air tickets and hotel reservation." Many air tickets now are 'e-tickets' meaning I usually print them off my computer. Is this sufficient? And how do I prove the hotel reservation? Does my travel agency send me this and in what form?

The printed version of the e-ticket works fine for the application. The visa officers just want to make sure that you have a ticket in hand. A copy or fax version of the confirmed hotel booking sheet or email is acceptable. For US citizens, the visa requirement is not strict.
