About:Chinese Embassy in France

Hello I am a French citizen in Bangkok, I would like to apply for a tourist visa on monday (29th of June) with a one day processing time.

Do I need to provide a flight ticket to China? Will I get the visa on 30th of June for sure?

Yes, your air ticket to China is necessary when applying for the visa. If you submit your application on June 29 and use rush service, you can get the visa on June 30.

I will most likely buy the flight on the internet. Is a printed copy of the confirmation from the airline enough?

The fax version of the confirmation will be okay for your application.

Either Traveler's check or the Bank Deposit Certificate is fine since either of them can function as your financial proof.

oh and I have just seen that Bangkok embassy did not deliver visas to French citizen a few months ago, is it still true?

I tried to contact them without success :(

I haven't heard of that, the embassy didn't give that notice. Try to contact the embassy agian, hereunder is the phone nuber of the embassy for your reference.
