About:Chinese Names

Hi, my Great Grandfather's name was Tsang Ah Wah - can you tell me what his given name WAH means please. Thanks.

I guess your Grand Grandfather is from South China, Guangdong, Guangxi or Fujian Province of China. Tsang Ah Wah is 曾阿华. His family name is 曾 (Tsang). His given name Ah Wah. Ah doesn't have pratical meaning. Wah have several meanings. When it is used as name, it means 'China' or 'Chinese'.
