About:Chinese Embassy in Ghana

Good Sir,
Please sir i have a business friend in china, and he well like me to visit him over there. But my problem is that, he is demanding for a photo copy of my passport for the invitation. Please sir, i would like to find out if that is the acceptable norm. Thanks and hoping to hear from.

Strange! what will he do with your passport copy? He will apply the visa for you?

Hello Ms Eva,
He say's he need my photo copy of my passport for preparing my invitaion, but i will apply for my visa overhere in Ghana. Please, i would like to find out if that is the acceptable norm.

In his invitation letter, he just have to invite you and write with his valid address and cntact in China, I don't think the copy of your passport is needed. So I advise you take care about this.
