Is January in taiwan very cold and rainny? I heard it's not a good time to visit taipei because of the typhoon... Thank you....

In a year, there are more than 200 rainy days in Taiwan. So, not only in Janurary but also in other months, it rains very often. Janurary is very cool and not influenced by typhoon. From June to October, typhoon happens frequently.
