When is the Canton Trade Fair? We plan to travel in October. Please advise!

There are two Canton Trade Fairs every year. One of them starts from Apr 14 to Apr 30 and the other is from Oct 14 to Oct 30. The city will be very crowded and the hotel will be very expensive then.
