About:Chinese Consulates in India

Hi,

I am based out of Bangalore,India. I would like to Visit HongKong and China for about 3 weeks on a Business Visa. I will get the invitation letter from a Reputed chinese company which is inviting me. But this is not the same company i am working for in India. Is there any problem in doing so.

Also for applying for the VISA can i send my application along with all documents by courier to the consulate and can expect my passport back the same way. How much time this process takes.

Best Regards,
Sandeep

The invitation letter from a different company you are working for doesn't affect the visa application.

The Chinese embassy in India requires applicant to process it inperson or to entrust a travel agency to apply on his/her behalf. Applications by courier or post will not be accepted.

The normal visa procedure takes 4 working days.
