About:China Train

I will be in Shanghai on October 2009, we planned to visit Beijing by train (bullet train), from where or which agency we have to book and buy the ticket ? For your information, we are Indonesian coming from Jakarta.

Hi,

I think it is easier for you to get help from your hotel in Shanghai. You may ask the receipt staff to see if they can reserve the train tickets for you in
advance. Certainly, you have to pay some handling fees.

Alternatively, you can try to buy the train tickets from the ticket office at railway station. In this case, I suggest you ask the hotel staff or someone
to write the train ticket information in Chinese for you before you go to buy them.

Hello, Mr. Leo, if you will stay in the hotel in Shanghai before you take the bullet train, you can try to book the train tickets from the front desk from your hotel with certain service charge. According to what I know, most hotels often this service. Or, you can also consider booking the train tickets from some local travel agency in Shanghai.
