I have done some research on this. The road to Lugu lake is very inconvenient, bumpy and hard. It takes about 7 hours'driving from Lijiang to Lugu lake. And mud-rock flow and landslide happen very easy at rainy season. So if you would like to go there, at least 3 days are needed and make sure you go on sunny days.0
