About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

I am a Candaian citizen and reside in Montreal Quebec. I am planning a business trip to Hong Kong/ Shanghai. South China and Bangkok during the month of September 2009. I have been reading articles that citizens of Canada may be put in quarantine up to two weeks when they are arrive because of the H1N1 virus. Is this true? Are they put in quarantine even if they are not sick?

No, it is not true. After your arrival, you are required to go through a medical check-up. If you are find out " having symptom of Swine Flu" (fever, cough etc), you will be put in quarantine.
