About:China Work Visa

I am staying in Shenzhen at the moment i have an L visa. The company i will be working for is in Zhejiang Province they are going to arrange for me to get a residents permit can you tell me what the process will be and will i will i need a Z visa and will i have to leave China main land to get it.

Mr Peter, I have heard that it is now possible to get a Z visa within mainland China(at a local Public Security Bureau Entry and Exit Administration Office). Previously, it was possible to get a Chinese Z visa in Hong Kong.
