About:Tianjin Transportation

Dear Lynna (Malaysia) & Mr Shan,
Thanks for the info.
I was checking the websites & noted it is quite complicated if I want to take the bullet train (China Railway High-speed Train (CRH)) from Beijing South Railway Station to Tianjin, if I arrive at Beijing International airport.
Is it convenient, with large luggage, to take airport bus to Xidan stop then change to bus no. 102 to Beijing South Railway Station?
How long is the distance & how frequent is bus service?
How much is the adult fare for both bus services?
Do the bus services provide change or exact fare is required?
Pls advise.
Thank you.

Hi, Ms Lau. It is not convenient. Beijing Capital Airport has direct buses to Tianjin down area, Nanjing Rd. If you want to take the bullet train, suggest you take airport bus to (there is one every a few minutes) Dongzhimen and then take a taxi to the south railway station. Generally, it will take 1-1.5 hours from the airport to the railway station. The airport bus is 16RMB per person and the taxi fare is about 30RMB.
