About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

Hello,

I am currently in china on A single entry visa. however I changed my outgoing flight so now i am over the permitted 30 day stay. what is the procedure for a 5 day extension? are there associated Fee for such a small extension?

You can go to the local public security authorities to apply for the extensionof your duration in China. Maybe you have to pay some fee for it.

Yes you can go to the PSB public security authorities in your area for extension and give them the right request its better for you to right a request letter too so its clear for the visa officer . and yes you have to pay a fee after you get your passport back
