Hello,I have a friend from Lagos Nigeria who wants to come here for a visit in Shanghai. what are the requirements needed? I saw in the website an invitation letter so is it optional or what? what are the other ways if we dont have the so called letter? help please

The requirements are:1. His passport with blank pages and at least 6 months validity left before expiration.2. A truly and completely filled application form affixed with one passport-sized photo. 3. Round-trip air ticketand Hotel reservation. 4. His bank statement in the recent three months.As for the invitation letter, you can write one for him enclosed with your address, name and valid contacts.
