Hi,I would like to travel by train from Shanghai to Jinhua by train on 24 June 2009. Can I buy the train ticket in advance or need to be on the spot at the counter on 24 June ? If I can buy in advance, can I just purchase at any ticket counter in China ?

Hello, Andrew.Do you mean a city in Zhejiang? I guess it is not likely to buy the tickets outside Shanghai. You can have a try anyway. There are many trains from Shanghai to Jinhua, starting from Shanghai Railway Station and Shanghai South Railway Station. I suggest you buy the tickets in advance at either railway station or tickets outlets.
