About:Embassy & Consulates of Singapore in China

Hi!
My mum and I both hold singapore passports. We would like to visit Tibet in china for about 16 days. Understand we would then need a visa to visit china for so long as well as a permit for entry to tibet. (please correct me if i am wrong).
What are the procedures for the permit and visa application? and how long is the application going to take?

Thanks for your help!

Mrs Joan, you are correct. You need both a Chinese tourist visa and a travel permit to Tibet
in order to visit Tibet.
For the Tibetan Travel Permit, you should contact the Tibetan Tourist Bureau.(Fax number of Tibetan Tourist Bureau: 0086-891-6834632; Telephone number:0086-891-6834313). The processing time of a China visa is four working days.
