I am a Librarian & do a great deal of research prior to travel. Four of us from New Jersey, USA will be Xian during the 3rd week of October, 2009. I would like to know if it is possible to get a private behind the scenes tour of the Terra Cotta Warriors with an archeologist or other special guide and what might this cost?

Hi there are a lot of professional guide of Terror Cotta Army, who can speak English well. they might charge 100 yuan per hour. however, if you want a expert guide who is a archeologist, please turn to the Archeology Department of Northwest University, or the Shannxi History Museum. It is unknown how much the will charge.
