About:Chinese Consulate in Sydney

I am a USA citizen who holds a U.S.A passport with Chinese F Visa 1 year/90 day maximun stay visa that expires in a few weeks. I need to come to Sydney for business and would like to apply for another 6 month or 1 year Chinese F Visa while I am in Sydney so I can return to China for additional business consulting that I am currently involved with. Will this be possible?
