Is it easy to get tour booking from hotel upon arrival in Beijing? Are hotel staff understand english?

Yes, booking tour from the hotel is very easy but the service quality cannot be assured. They mostly arrange the coach tour and you maybe forced to tourism stores on the tour. You’d better book ahead with the agency who are more professional. Most of the staff in hotels can speak English. However, it also depends what kind of hotels you will stay. The staff in those 5-star, 4-star and 3-star hotels with international brand usually can speak excellent English.
