About:Chinese Embassy in Japan

I am an Australian in Japan for 1 month, and I would like to visit a friend in China. How can I apply for a Tourist Visa to China in Japan? Is this possible? I am in Japan on a tourist Visa.

You can apply for the visa from the Chinese embassy in Japan with some requirements.

Ms.Narelle, only the aliens holding Japanese Long-stay visa (more than one year) can apply for Chinese L visa in Japan. So I don't think you can get a L visa to mainland of China in Japan
