when we have an overnight stay in leshan, will we be able to leave our bags at the hotel

When we have an overnight stay in Leshan, will we be able to leave our bags at the hotel in Chengdu and just bring an overnight bag?  Also, just curious, how long is the drive?

Generally it is no problem to store the luggage in the hotel and it is free of charge. It takes about 3 hours driving from Chengdu to Leshan, and another half an hour from Leshan to Mt. Emei.
