About:Chinese Consulate in Toronto

Good afternoon,

I have a question regarding birth certificate.

My daughter was born in Beijing in 1988, and went to Italy in 1994 and came to Canada in 1996 with us. She is a Canadian citizen now. She is a full time student in Waterloo University and applying for a coop opportunity in Neitherland; It is required that the applicant submit a birth certificate issued within the last 12 months, I wonder if you could issue a birth certicate for her. We had one issued by Italian Embassy before we moved to Canada, but it is too old.

Please let us know how we can apply for that, what document we need provide.

you have to inquire about it from your local official department of birth certificate in Canada.

My daughter was not born in Canada, how can she get a birth certifiacte from Canadian government?

Sorry for my mistake. If so, you mean to apply for a birth certificate of China, right? Then you have to contact the Chinese embassy in Canada through the following info:
