About:Chinese Embassy in Belgium

We are a Chinese joint venture company partly owned by an large European Group of companies. The British and Dutch executives of our parent company can easily get a one-year validity multiple entry visa from the Chinese embassies in their home countries against our invitation letter. But our Belgian executives said the Chinese embassy in Brussels did not accept our invitation and, despite that the restriction during the Olympic Games had been over, still required an invitation letter or endorsement from the local government of the city in China to supply the application for a business visa. Is it true? Why so difficult for Belgians to obtain sucb business visit visa to China?

Nr Wu, only the authorized organizations ( General Office of the Municipal or Provincial Government and the Affiliated governmental organization ) have the rights to issue invitation letter or visa notification sheet.
