Hello everyone!My name is Chel. I'll be in guangzhou for the 1st time in september. Please recommend shopping areas and budget hotels. Is shopping area within walking distance or should i take taxi? Is there a zoo in guangzhou?

The shopping area is around Tianhe, Beijing Road and Shangxiajiu. You can find budget hotels like Jinjiang Inn and Rujia at those streets within walking distance from the street. Yes, Guangzhou has zoo. Guangzhou Zoo is located in East Xianlie Rd. hope it helps.
