Question

I have a layover at Guangzhou Airport for 7.5 hours (from 1:45pm to 9:20pm), I would like to go sightseeing during this time. The Huangpu Academy would be my favorite place to visit. Would it be realistic to make it to the Academy before it closes (seems to be at 5:00pm) and back? How would I go about it? Take the bus to the Sanyuanli metro station? Then take the metro to the university city north station and finally a taxi to the academy? Is that realistic? Thank you, Bob.

Suggest you take Airport Bus Line 5 to Globelink Hotel and take a taxit o Xinzhou Dock, where you can get a rented boat to the island. For there is one ship every a hour to the island. It is more safe to rent one. After arriving and take a taxi staightforward to the site. Yes, it is closed at 5pm and not open on Monday. Hope it is helpful!
