About:Chinese Embassy in Japan

I am US citizen(tourist) visiting Japan >>staying at Ykota Air Base...can I get a tourist visa to visit China through a travel agency?
If approved will stay at a hotel.

You can't appply for visa to China in China because ONLY THE ALIENS HOLDING JAPANESE LONG-STAY VISA(MORE THAN ONE YEAR) can apply for the L visa to China
