About:Chinese Embassy in Australia

I heard somewhere that in order to apply for the Chinese visa I need to have my tickets booked already, is that correct? I read the procedures and filled out the application form but was never asked for the tickets.

The visa policy is different for different nationalities. For Australians, the two-way air ticket is not required, however, for many countries in Asia, Africa, the ticket is required
