We will arrive in Shanghai at about 13:00 by flight on May 26, 2009. We plan to leave Shanghai right now after we arrive there for Hangzhou to see the >Hangzhou Bay Bridge, and then the Western Lake in Hangzhou if time permits, and then bus tour to the city of Huangshan (formerly Tuangxi?). Is it possible?

It will take about 3-4 hours to drive from Shanghai to Hangzhou and another 3-4 hours from Hangzhou to Huangshan, you will have no time to visit any sights in Hangzhou and also feel very tired. Therefore, if you want to visit both Huangshan and Hangzhou, you'd better take a flight to Huangshan directly after your arrival in Shanghai, and drive to Hangzhou after your stay in huangshan. The tour in Hangzhou needs at least a whole day. You are suggested to take the soft seat train back to Shanghai from Hangzhou which is more convenient and comfortable. Hope it is useful to you and may you a great trip in China.
